The Alameda County Transition Fair was held this year at Alameda City College on March 27. We decided to represent Build at this event for the first time. Formerly, since our services applied only to youth, we did not feel that our participation was appropriate. However, now that our age limit has been raised, and we officially serve individuals in their twenties, we felt that it was a good time to let the community know about us. We were also able to network with other services that were out there and it helped significantly to let other providers know about us.
